Chelsea reportedly have a shot at signing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho in the summer transfer window.
During the Blues were linked with a move for after his role at United changed. Under Erik ten Hag, the 20-year-old's prominence in the first team grew as the form of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho dipped.
However, once he was sacked and replaced him, a role for a winger became obsolete. The Portuguese head coach prefers to play with wing-backs and while the likes of Amad have adapted to play as a No.10, has struggled.

In January, Garnacho's agents Carlos Cambeiro and Quique De Lucas were spotted at Stamford Bridge for clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers. It is understood the duo visited on their own accord and were not invited by the club, but it only served to increase speculation linking Garnacho and Chelsea.
Now, according to , it is now highly plausible that Garnacho leaves in the summer if a bid is seen as being right for both the player and the club. It has been widely documented that United are struggling with their finances, so the sale of a player who was bought for a nominal fee could be appealing to them.
However, any hope that could be joining his teammate in London seems to be dwindling. It is thought that United want their midfielder to stay, especially following his return from injury.
Mainoo is in the midst of contract negotiations with United to better reflect his standing at the club. That has reached a stalemate in recent weeks, with United unable to accommodate his demands, but with two years left on his contract, it is not an immediate concern for Amorim.
