After a long summer of transfer signings and speculation, the Arsenal head coach, Mikel Arteta, can put all that to one side as his team returns to the pitch to take on AC Milan in their first pre-season fixture.
While these tours are equal parts commercial opportunities and a chance to get fit for the new Premier League season, Arsenal supporters will be eager to see what their new signings will have to offer. Noni Madueke, who arrived from Chelsea last week, is not going to feature after playing in the Club World Cup.
However, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga could all feature. Meanwhile, this is perhaps the last time we will see the Arsenal squad without the additions of Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres as they look to finalise their deals.
