Leeds needed a Daniel James strike to bring them level at Kenilworth Road but couldn't find the winner they were seeking despite Luton themselves trying to fend off the threat of relegation. It means the Whites have now won just one of their last six games.
Since winning in Sheffield, Leeds have taken just seven points from the 18 available as they surrender the advantage they had built. Despite that Farke was content with the point they took back from Luton, citing the quality of their opponents in what was a difficult encounter.
He said: "First of all, I have to say, we always knew it would be a difficult game today because let’s be honest, Luton played in the last season, [so it's] not the worst point to take. Many of the players have played in the Premier League last season."
The Blades meanwhile had won four of their last five before they headed to Oxford but were undone by Siriki Dembele's first-half goal. They will attempt to get back to winning ways when they host Millwall whilst Leeds face a difficult trip to Middlesbrough.
