Chelsea are European champions again. This time in the Conference League, with the Blues beating Real Betis 4-1 in Wroclaw after a second-half comeback.
Betis took an early lead in Poland with Abde Ezzalzouli striking into the bottom corner after being found by a neat pass from Isco. The Spaniards looked much more dangerous than Chelsea whenever they attacked with plenty of urgency in possession.
Reece James came on at half-time to try and galvanise the Blues and it worked. Chelsea looked much more dangerous in the attacking third and that told on 65 minutes when Enzo Fernandez headed past Adrian after a fine cross from Cole Palmer on the right-hand side.
Chelsea completed the comeback on 70 minutes when Jackson headed in another Palmer delivery. It was pandemonium in the corner, with all of the substitutes rushing over to celebrate with Jackson.
There was time for another two for the west Londoners. Jadon Sancho, on as a second-half substitute, bent one into the far corner to put the final beyond any doubt for Enzo Maresca's side. Moises Caicedo's deflected strike in stoppage time ensured an unforgettable evening for the Blues in Poland.
The Blues have lifted the Conference League trophy for the first time in the club's history. Below, Bobby Vincent rates each of the Chelsea players based on their performance in the final.
Filip Jorgensen - Could not do a thing about Ezzalzouli's early goal. Produced a fine stop to deny a Marc Bartra effort from long range. 6.
Malo Gusto - Perhaps a surprise inclusion over captain Reece James. Gave it away for Ezzalzouli's goal. Started really poorly, and has had a pretty poor season after a promising debut campaign. His struggle in the game continued and he was almost punished for giving it away for a second time later in the first-half. Hooked at the break. 3.
Trevoh Chalobah - Got away with a sloppy moment in the first-half. Didn't look comfortable. 5.
Benoit Badiashile - Amazed he started ahead of Levi Colwill. Passed it well but defensively, he did not look confident. Perhaps to be expected given the lack of football he has played this season. Brought off on 62 minutes. 5.
Marc Cucurella - Passing was unusually off it at times. Did well to nullify the threat of Antony. 6.
Moises Caicedo - Great for Chelsea's Player of the Season to wrap up his campaign in style. His goal was a deflected strike, but he won't care one bit. Dyed his hair blonde for the final and marked the occasion brilliantly. 8.
Enzo Fernandez - Didn't think he was having the best of games but it was his header in the second-half that brought Chelsea level. A great run into the box and a clever header to beat Adrian. His second Conference League goal of the season and his eighth in all competitions. 7.
Pedro Neto - Could not get involved on the right-hand side. Not a surprise it was he who was taken off on 62 minutes for Jadon Sancho. 5.
Cole Palmer - Produced a wonderful assist for Fernandez. Clipped the ball into the Argentine's path that allowed him to level the final. And he was not done there either. Another sensational moment saw Jackson get on the end of a brilliant cross to the near post. His magic in the second-half saw Chelsea lift the Conference League trophy in Wroclaw. 9.
Noni Madueke - Started on the left, but he was unable to have an impact. Tried getting at the full-back as often as he could but when he cut inside, he was not able to produce anything on his right foot. Looked better when he moved to the right, but a frustrating display overall. 5.
Nicolas Jackson - Back in the side after being suspended for the past couple of Premier League matches. Maresca said on Tuesday that Jackson was "in debt" to his Chelsea teammates after his sending off at Newcastle United. And despite frustrating for the best part of 70 minutes, Jackson repaid the debt to his teammates with the goal that put the Blues ahead in the final. 7.
SUBS
Reece James (on for Gusto 46') - Needed to come on and he did after the break. Chelsea's confidence seemed to go up when their captain entered the pitch. Some brilliant crosses and fine passing. 6.
Jadon Sancho (on for Neto 62') - If that was his last outing for Chelsea, what a way to go out. Scored the third goal of the game. One of the most memorable goals of his career, surely. 8.
Levi Colwill (on for Badiashile 62') - Should have started. Did well to block Isco on 69 minutes, with the Spaniard bearing down on the Chelsea goal. 6.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (on for Jackson 80') - Some minutes was fitting given his contribution throughout the competition. Got the assist for Sancho as well. 7.
Marc Guiu (on for Palmer 88') - Some minutes for the striker. N/A.
