ChatGPT: People are fed up with Ghibli-style images on ChatGPT. Last week, people made 700 million Ghibli style images with the AI image generator, now they are making fake PAN and Aadhaar cards.
ChatGPT: The trend of making Ghibli style images on social media is still going on, meanwhile fake Aadhaar and PAN cards made on AI app ChatGPT are also going viral in a tremendous way. The surprising thing is that these fake PAN and Aadhaar cards look so real that it is difficult to identify them.
The pictures of fake PAN cards of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk made with the help of AI app ChatGPT are going viral on social media these days. And people did not even spare the great mathematician of ancient India, Aryabhata, they made PAN and Aadhaar cards for him too. This shows how much Artificial Intelligence is being misused. Even though people are doing this jokingly while following the trend, but it is a matter of concern.
The pictures look like real cards
An Economic Times report has revealed that ChatGPT is creating pictures like Aadhaar cards, which are very similar to the real cards. However, there is some error in the text and numbers in the card. The capacity of AI to create fake cards has sparked a debate on social media. Along with this, the need to focus on security risk and AI regulation is now being felt. Social media user Yashwant Sai Palaghat expressed concern over this and said, "ChatGPT is quickly creating fake Aadhaar and PAN cards, which is a serious security risk. AI should be used to a certain extent."

How to identify fake and real cards?
Aadhaar card is an identity card, which is issued to every citizen of the country by the Government of India. It has a unique 12-digit number printed on it, which is linked to the person's biometric and demographic data. This includes his photo, name, date of birth, gender, address and fingerprints.
Similarly, the PAN card also has a 10-digit code, which is different for every person. Aadhaar and PAN cards can be verified with the help of QR code in it. Due to the encrypted data, only certified scanners will be able to scan it. This ensures that only authentic institutions will be able to verify the PAN.
