Government women and men polytechnics are operating on Gwalior Road in Jhansi. Apart from this, there are three private polytechnics as well. There are 8 branches of engineering in the Government Women's Polytechnic in Jhansi, which include Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Fashion Design and Garment Technology, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, PGDCA, Data Science and Machine Learning. There are 450 seats here. At the same time, the Government Men's Polytechnic has Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Production, Mechanical Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Hardware Maintenance, PGDCA, and Drone Technology Engineering branches, which have 525 seats.
When will the exam be held?
Principal of Government Polytechnic L S Yadav said that after applying till 30th April, computer based online entrance examination will be held in all 75 districts of the state from 20th to 28th May. After the entrance examination, admissions will be done in all polytechnics through counseling. Along with taking admission in polytechnic, practical knowledge is given to the youth. The youth here get jobs soon. Along with this, one can also do B.Tech degree through lateral entry. Many new dimensions of career also open up.
