Kranti Gaud hails from Ghuwara village, located near Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh. This area is close to Khajuraho, famous for its temples. Her father was a constable in the police department, but financial constraints and family difficulties made it difficult for Kranti to play cricket.
Education was lost, but not her dream.
Kranti's studies were interrupted after Class 8 due to dire financial circumstances. Her father lost his job, and her mother sold her jewelry to keep her cricket dream alive.
Coach Gave Direction and Support
According to reports, a major turning point in Kranti's life came when her father took her to coach Rajiv Bilthare. Rajiv not only provided her free coaching but also provided her with shoes, a bat, and a place to stay.
WPL Changed Life
Kranti Gaur's fortunes turned in the Women's Premier League (WPL). For a while, she was a net bowler for the Mumbai Indians team. Seeing her talent, the UP Warriors signed her to their team at a base price of ₹10 lakh.
