A supposed operational lapse during the ongoing Indian Premier League game between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals meant the scoreboard disappeared for 1.3 overs from Star Sports' live telecast on Saturday, April 5. The malfunction was quite evident moments after Nehal Wadhera struck a maximum off Wanindu Hasaranga.
A few key events unfolded during the match when the scorecard vanished from the television screens of millions of users. However, there was no sign of it whatsoever, which further intrigued social media users.
