When it comes to legendary names in South Indian cinema, Trisha Krishnan is undoubtedly a frontrunner. With a celebrated journey spanning over 20 years, she has carved a niche for herself as one of the most bankable and beloved actresses in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Her repertoire includes landmark hits such as Ponniyin Selvan (Parts 1 and 2), Krishna, and Mankatha. Today, she stands tall not only for her acting prowess but also as one of the highest-earning female stars in the South.

But while her professional life has soared to unimaginable heights, her personal life has often been overshadowed by controversy, heartbreak, and speculation.

The Rana Daggubati Chapter: Love That Fizzled Out

A widely discussed relationship in Trisha’s life was with actor Rana Daggubati. For years, their closeness was a hot topic. The pair were frequently spotted together, fueling whispers of a romantic connection.

Although both remained tight-lipped, the truth emerged in 2018 on Koffee With Karan, when Rana appeared alongside Prabhas and director Rajamouli. Initially avoiding the question, Rana finally acknowledged that they had dated, adding, "She has been my friend for a decade. We have been friends for a long time and even dated. But, I guess, things didn't work out."
Neither of them ever spoke about what led to the split, choosing to keep that part of their lives private.

A Broken Engagement: Love Lost with Varun Manian

In early 2015, Trisha announced her engagement to Chennai-based entrepreneur Varun Manian. The engagement made headlines, but within five months, she surprised everyone by calling it off.

In a candid 2017 interview with Chennai Times, Trisha expressed her evolving view of marriage: "I believe in marriage even now. But I don't believe marriage is a social need. Honestly, age is not a matter at all. No one must get married just for the society, as I have seen many people who suffered because of it. We must marry someone out of love and not for other reasons. If I had met my kind of man when I was 25, I would have married him by now." As of now, at 41, Trisha remains unmarried.

On the work front, Trisha will next be seen opposite Chiranjeevi in the Telugu fantasy film 'Vishwambhara.' She will also feature in an untitled Tamil project, Suriya 45. Additionally, she will share the screen with Mohanlal in the Malayalam action thriller 'Ram.'

Despite the storms she faces, both on-screen and off, Trisha Krishnan continues to walk tall—a blend of elegance, resilience, and undeniable stardom.
