It is believed that by participating in this yatra, all the sins of a person are destroyed and after death one attains Baikunth Dham. Let us know the importance of 84 Kosi Parikrama…

Importance of 84 Kosi Parikrama
According to religious beliefs, this tradition of 84 Kosi Parikrama has been going on for hundreds of years. According to the scriptures, the one who completes this parikrama with mind, words, and deeds gets freedom from rebirth, this is the reason why devotees from all over the country participate in it. By participating in this yatra, all sins are destroyed and one attains Baikunth Dham. It is believed that this 84 Kosi Parikrama has been determined by connecting the same paths through which Lord Rama went to the ashrams of sages and saints during his exile in Treta Yuga. By doing this Parikrama, all wishes are fulfilled, and happiness, peace, and prosperity increase.

Parikrama leads to salvation.
There are three types of Parikrama in Ayodhya, the first Parikrama is called Choti Parikrama, which is of 5 Kos. The second is 14 Kosi Parikrama and the third is 84 Kosi Parikrama, which is about 275 km. The four classical boundaries of Ayodhya hold special importance in this Parikrama. Makhodha Dham (Northern Gate) in the north direction, Singh Rishi's Ashram (Eastern Gate) in the east direction, Maharaj Parikshit's Ashram (Southern Gate) in the south direction and Agastya Muni's Ashram, Bhanwariganj, Gonda (Western Gate) in the west direction. These four directions are considered to be the spiritual boundaries of Ayodhya. Every year thousands of devotees participate in this Parikrama and this time also about 1500 devotees have participated in the Yatra. This Yatra is done entirely for religious faith, spiritual practice and attainment of salvation.
