The Khan stars who ruled Hindi cinema for decades seem to be leaving the mainstream. First Aamir Khan was sidelined after giving two consecutive mega flop films, now it is Salman Khan's turn. The way the collection of Salman Khan's new film 'Sikander' crashed on the fourth day of its release, did not even allow this film to reach the list of Salman Khan's top 10 films. Salman's last release 'Tiger 3' was released on Sunday and earned Rs 148.50 crore in the opening weekend, the film 'Sikander' is still miles behind it.

Sikander's steps move towards flop
Salman Khan's film 'Sikander', starring Rashmika Mandanna, Satyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, etc., which released last Sunday, just a day before Eid, started getting cancelled the second day itself. Its producer Sajid Nadiadwala is constantly trying to get his film off to a good start by counting the film's worldwide earnings. But since the decision of a Hindi film being a hit or flop is made based on its earnings at the domestic box office, the steps towards the flop of 'Sikandar' can be seen.
The film flopped on the fourth day itself.
The film 'Sikandar' which was released on Sunday earned only Rs 26 crore on the first day. This opening was very low for this film which was made for Rs 200 crore. Even on the second day i.e. Eid, there was no significant increase in the film's earnings and it could earn only Rs 29 crore on Monday. The film's collection started falling on the third day i.e. Tuesday. The film earned only Rs 19.50 crore on the third day of its release and on the fourth day, this collection fell to single digits. With a drop of fifty percent, the film 'Sikandar' earned only Rs 09.75 crore on Wednesday.
Netflix's fresh negotiations
The film 'Sikandar', which earned only Rs 84.25 crore in the first four days of its release, has also broken the pride of the makers of Salman's films that no matter how Salman's film is, it earns at least Rs 100 crore in the first weekend and Rs 200 crore in the next one or two weeks. The film 'Sikandar' is no less than a lesson for the producers who are looking to get the remaining amount from OTT and other rights. Sources say that seeing this condition of the film, Netflix, the company that bought its OTT rights, has also started fresh negotiations regarding its price.
