Bengaluru Rains: City Braces For More Showers This Week; IMD Issues Yellow Alert

Bengaluru: Karnataka's capital city, Bengaluru, is set to witness moderate to heavy rainfall on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The city woke up at 06:07 AM with a partly cloudy sky this morning, and it is likely to remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range around 23 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06:32 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 61 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the Southeast at 8 km/h.

IMD predicts rainfall in these regions

According to the weather forecast, residents of the city will experience rain for at least this week. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the city. Today, the rainfall is expected to be accompanied by gusty winds, thunderstorms, and lightning.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitering Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for next five days on X and wrote, "Thunderstorms, lightning and gale force winds with gusts reaching 30-40 kmph are likely across the state for the next 5 days, with scattered moderate rainfall in the North Interior and South Interior districts."
