Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Delhi's Mayur Vihar Phase-1 metro station. On Monday afternoon, a young man attempted to commit suicide and jumped down from the metro station.
Before jumping, the man hung on to the railing of the station for about 1 hour. A video of the man hanging on the railing is making rounds on the internet. Police and ambulance can also be seen waiting down in the video.

A massive crowd also gathered at the spot recording videos of the man hanging on the railing.
The police team had reached the spot reportedly before he jumped had tried to explain him to get down for around an hour, but he did not listen to them and jumped down from the building.
After this, he was rushed to the hospital in an injured condition. At present, the police is probing the matter and trying to find out the identity of the man.
Reason For Attempt To Suicide
There has been no official word regarding why the man had taken the extreme step. However, according to NCMIndia Council For Men Affairs, an NGO which claims that it fights for men's rights has claimed that the man tried to commit suicide because of his matrimonial disputes.

No arrests has been made in connection with the matter so far. However, the police is probing the case and will take action after the inquiry is completed.
