Around 5 am on Sunday, he complained of chest pain and uneasiness, after which he was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

His family members added that Arjun was not involved in any kind of intoxication and had no known history of heart-related issues.

He was the only son of his parents and had an elder sister. He had appeared for his Class 12 board exams last month, and the results are awaited. He aspired to prepare for civil service examinations.

The police have launched an investigation and conducted the post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Do not ignore chest pain

Cardiologist Dr Manish Porwal explained that there are two to three main reasons why heart attacks occur at such a young age. Young people today are smoking more. Smoking thickens the blood, which leads to clotting in the arteries. Young smokers usually don’t have blockages, but due to thickened blood, clots can form, blocking a major artery of the heart.

This temporarily stops blood flow and can result in a major heart attack. Often, patients cannot be taken to the hospital in time after a major attack.

Many people think that a heart attack cannot happen at such a young age. If there is chest pain, one should not be careless—it is important to get an ECG done immediately. This condition should not be mistaken for acidity and ignored.

Nowadays, addiction has increased significantly and smoking habits are also on the rise among youth. Due to competition, stress levels are higher among young people, leading them to smoke. In some young people, this problem also arises due to genetic reasons.
