Mumbai: According to the reports from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), this week temperatures are anticipated to vary from 26 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius, along with cloudy skies and precipitation for several days. Orange And Red Alert In Maharashtra
Orange Alert issued for Mumbai as low-pressure system has developed over South Konkan, close to the Goa coastline and the East Central Arabian Sea. As a result, the IMD has declared a red alert for very heavy rainfall in the Konkan area for the upcoming three days.

The IMD stated that a red alert predicting the chance of very heavy rain has been announced for Raigad on May 23 and for Ratnagiri district on May 22 and 23. An orange alert is also active for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Sindhudurg, and the ghats of Pune and Satara during this time due to heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and strong winds.
The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has also issued orange alert for the city today. Navi Mumbai woke up to foggy weather and overcast skies. Low visibility was recorded in various regions in the morning hours of May 23.

A red alert has been issued for Raigad, predicting the possibility of very heavy rainfall. The IMD has declared an orange alert for Mumbai for May 23 and 24, cautioning of heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and strong winds hitting speeds of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour in certain areas.

On May 23, the IMD predicted cloudy weather and the possibility of heavy rains. Temperatures are rising today to 29 degrees Celsius, while humidity stays low at 76%, and the wind is blowing at 3 km/h with precipitation at 0% by 9 AM today.
