Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is set to conduct one of its largest recruitment drives with online examinations for 668 Group C and D posts scheduled from July 16 to 19. A total of 84,774 candidates have registered for the exams, which will be held across 28 centres in 12 districts of Maharashtra.
The recruitment process, conducted in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), aims to ensure transparency, efficiency, and security. The district-wise distribution of candidates includes the highest number from Mumbai Suburban (22,060), followed by Pune (21,683), and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (11,964). Other districts include Amravati, Nagpur, Nanded, Kolhapur, Thane, Nashik, Satara, and Raigad.
To oversee the process, NMMC Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde has appointed senior Class-I officers as nodal officers in each district, with 2 to 3 municipal officers stationed at each centre as supervisors.

Hall tickets were released online seven days prior to the exam, and around 75,000 candidates have already downloaded theirs. Those who haven't received them yet have been notified via SMS and email to download their admit cards promptly.
Candidates have been instructed to report to their respective centres at the time mentioned on the hall ticket and to follow all exam guidelines as outlined in the information booklet.

In a public advisory, NMMC cautioned applicants against falling prey to fraudulent job offers and bribery schemes, emphasizing that the recruitment process is being conducted with full transparency.
