The Yogi government is converting expressways into industrial growth corridors, acquiring 3,827 hectares—70% of approved land—across five major routes. ₹5,500 crore has been spent so far, benefitting 20,000 landowners.
Projects like the Ganga and Bundelkhand expressways are prioritizing warehousing, IT, pharma, and food processing.
Each corridor will anchor regional economies, with hubs planned in districts such as Agra, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Azamgarh.
The initiative supports the state's goal of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy through infrastructure-led, employment-generating industrialization.
