Ahead of the release of Good Bad Ugly, fans of superstar Ajith Kumar installed his 280-foot-tall cutout outside a cinema hall in Tamil Nadu in a grand display of affection. However, the celebratory atmosphere quickly turned tense when the massive cutout unexpectedly collapsed, causing a moment of panic among the gathered crowd.

Video of the incident has surfaced on social media, sparking conversations about safety measures at fan-organised events.

One of the videos shows fans running for cover as they begin to realise that the massive cutout is about to collapse.

Social media users reacted sharply to the incident. One called the fanfare 'embarrassing' and said Ajith himself must be tired of it. Another questioned whether fans even pause to think if it’s all worth it. Some pointed out safety concerns, with one user saying the structure looked unstable even before it collapsed.

Netizens react to the now-viral video

Reacting to the video on Reddit, a user commented, "He’s probably embarrassed by all this dumb shit in his name at this point. How many times can a man tell people to decently get a life?"

"I wish for at least for a second, a thought passed in their brain thinking "is this all worth it?" read another comment.

"Anyways AK fans might have to soon either expect a letterpad note from AK or Vid from Suresh Chandra soon. Despite this cutout thing being unnecessary panradha avadhu at least safe ah pannungada, I saw a pic of it earlier and it was already swaying cause the top half literally has no stability," wrote another user.

"Ha ha ha ha the best thing I saw today. Hope these morons learned a lesson," another comment read.

A user commented, "Oh my god thankfully nobody was injured...this cutout culture has to stop."

"Downfall started even before film's release lol," read another comment.

Meanwhile, the trailer of Good Bad Ugly was unveiled, featuring Ajith and Trisha in the lead roles. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the trailer is packed with high-octane, mass-appeal elements and punchy dialogues delivered in true Ajith style.

What has truly captured everyone's attention, however, is Ajith's striking de-aged look. Though the actor is 53 years old, the trailer offers a glimpse of a younger version of him - something that has become the talk of the town.

Fans and netizens alike are thrilled with the teaser, with many praising its energy and visuals. Good Bad Ugly is slated to hit the big screens on April 10, 2025.
