Gonda Saas Damad Found: The police has recovered the mother-in-law and son-in-law duo who had fled together from Gonda. The police have caught both of them 72 hours after their disappearance. Both of them then told the police the whole story behind their escape together.

In Gonda, UP, the police have caught the son-in-law who eloped with his mother-in-law. Both were caught by the police after 72 hours. The mother-in-law who eloped with her son-in-law said that my mental condition is not right. That is why I went away with my son-in-law, but now I will never talk to him. I will stay with my husband only.
Dubaulia police recovered both mother-in-law and son-in-law and after interrogation handed them over to Khodare police along with husband Kishan. Actually, the case is of Khodare police station area Habirpur village of Gonda district. Kishan had arranged his daughter's marriage with Ramswaroop, a resident of Bhuira village of Dubaulia police station area of Basti district.
Ram Swaroop used to talk for hours with his mother-in-law Usha Devi more than with his bride. Then suddenly one day he himself broke off the relationship with Kishan's daughter. He said - I do not want to do this marriage. But he kept in touch with his mother-in-law Usha Devi (44). Gradually the mother-in-law and son-in-law started getting closer. Then Usha Devi left with Ram Swaroop on the morning of 25 April 2025 without telling anyone.
Usha Devi's husband Kishan searched a lot for his wife. When he could not find any information, he went to Khodare police station on 27 April at 7 pm and informed the police about the entire incident. There he filed a missing person report for Usha Devi, after which the Khodare police also informed the Dubaulia police of Basti about the matter.
What did mother-in-law Usha Devi say?
Dubaulia police contacted Ramswaroop and questioned him. Then Ramswaroop kept misleading them. But through mobile location, SO Pradeep Singh recovered the mother-in-law and son-in-law within 72 hours. After interrogation, Usha Devi was handed over to her husband. Usha Devi said- Due to my mental condition not being good, I had gone with my future son-in-law. Now I will not go with my future son-in-law Ramswaroop. I will stay in Habirpur with my husband Kishan. After this, Usha Devi went with her husband. Her daughter is getting married on 9th May.
