When metabolism is slow, the body spends energy slowly, which leads to accumulation of calories and can lead to obesity.

On the other hand, if the metabolism speeds up, it can also have a bad effect on health. For example, in patients of hyperthyroidism, if the metabolism speeds up due to increased thyroid hormone, then the person may experience symptoms like weight loss, increased heartbeat and weakness. Therefore, it is very important to balance it.

How to speed up metabolism?

The doctor said that to keep the metabolism right, one should remain active, that is, it is important to exercise daily and remain active in the daily routine. It is seen that people who are more active during the day or exercise daily have a better metabolism, as compared to those who have a sedentary lifestyle, that is, they work by sitting most of the day. People who exercise daily or go for a walk for more than 30 minutes in the morning have a better metabolism, even when they are sitting, their calorie consumption remains correct.

People who have slow metabolism should consume nutritious food to balance it, which contains good amount of vitamin B complex, fiber rich foods, caffeine containing things also help in increasing metabolism. Metabolism also increases with healthy diet and exercise. Metabolism is faster in people who exercise regularly. Therefore, to speed up metabolism, exercise regularly, take a healthy diet and drink the right amount of water daily.
