Elon Musk allegedly took so much ketamine it caused him bladder problems

Citing anonymous sources and private messages, the alleged that the ’s richest man's drug use was frequent and extensive, at times so severe it affected his health. Extensive use of Ketamine can cause bladder problems - a known side effect of chronic use of the anaesthetic. He is also claimed to have taken ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms.

Musk is alleged to travel with a daily pill case containing roughly 20 medications, including tablets marked as Adderall. The 53-year-old drug consumption allegedly intensified as he donated £205 million to 2024 presidential campaign and took on a central role in federal governance.

Despite his growing influence, it remains unclear whether the White House was aware of the full extent of his alleged substance use or if Musk was under the influence while engaging in official duties.

A White House spokesperson, Harrison Fields, declined to comment on the drug claims but credited the Tesla CEO with “helping cut government waste.” Officials have not confirmed whether Musk was ever subject to drug testing while serving in a high-level advisory capacity.

The revelations raise questions about oversight and security, especially given Musk’s continued leadership of major government contractors, including SpaceX.

The aerospace firm, which administers random drug testing to employees to comply with federal regulations, reportedly gave the billionaire advance warning of any such tests.

SpaceX did not respond to requests for comment.

According to sources familiar with Musk, he has shown erratic behaviour in recent months, including publicly insulting US cabinet members, making Nazi-like gestures, and speaking incoherently during official interviews.

His personal life has also become increasingly volatile, marked by overlapping relationships and legal disputes related to his growing number of children.

Musk has previously stated that he was prescribed ketamine for depression and used it infrequently. He also told his biographer: “I really don’t like doing illegal drugs.”

Despite his claim, those close to him paint a different picture of a man heavily medicated, emotionally volatile, and increasingly isolated.

On Wednesday night, Musk abruptly announced that he was stepping down from his government role, stating that politics had become a distraction from his business ventures.

Neither Musk nor his attorney have responded to repeated requests for comment.

Supporters continue to defend Musk, but according to the New York Times, several longtime friends and associates have recently distanced themselves from him, alarmed by his behaviour and drug use.
