A former soap star is reportedly in discussions to appear on the next series of I'm A Celebrity spin-off All Stars. Adam Thomas is said to be in "advanced talks" with ITV about signing up for it after reaching the final of the main series.
Adam, 36, known for his roles on shows like Waterloo Road and Emmerdale, was a campmate in the jungle in Australia in 2016. He placed third in the final, behind runner-up Joel Dommett and winner Scarlett Moffatt, that year.
Three years later, Adam co-hosted I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp. He fronted the companion show with Emily Atack for one series in 2019 and his former campmate Joel also featured.
It's now rumoured that Adam could take part in spin-off All Stars, which was filmed in South Africa for its debut series in 2022. A second series is reportedly due to be filmed in the country this autumn ahead of airing next year.
A source told the Sun: "This will be a glorious return for Adam as he established himself as a true fan favourite through his series in camp and then on the spin-off show." They added that he's remained on TV since then though.
They said: "He's stayed in the limelight, too, with Waterloo Road and then on ITV alongside brother Ryan with challenge show 99 To Beat. It's the perfect time for him to head back into the jungle and affirm his position as Mr Bushtucker Trial."
Alongside his career on TV, Adam has also made headlines in recent years after being diagnosed with arthritis. The actor has raised awareness of the condition, having spoken about his experience, including in posts on social media.
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Adam initially shared that he had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. He's since said that he has psoriatic arthritis - described by the NHS as a long-term condition that causes joint pain, swelling and stiffness. The NHS states that there's currently no cure for arthritis, but that treatments that can help slow it down.
In an update posted on Instagram just last week, Adam spoke about taking medication but expressed hope that "this disease can be cured naturally". He told his followers that he would like to not have to take medication one day.
Alongside a photo of himself injecting his thigh with medication, he wrote: "I lost hope ... I never thought I'd get my old life back ... I was wrong. To anyone struggling with arthritis and is lost and can't seem to find hope ... stay strong! It's a long and painful road but I promise you ... you will!"

He went on to say that his medication has "changed" his life and promoted biologic injections, which he's said to take once every two weeks. Adam said: "No side effects no brain fog no throwing up, nothing! Nothing but pain free!"
Adam continued: "I know this isn't going to heal the disease but it's given me a life I never thought I'd have again! Still putting in the work and focusing on diet and recovery as I'd like to think this disease can be cured naturally and one day I'd like to not have to take any meds but until then …"
He concluded by telling fans that he wanted to "bring hope" to others with arthritis and to raise awareness. He said: "I feel like it's not talked about enough." He urged in his post: "Don't lose hope don't lose yourself to this disease."
I'm a Celebrity... South Africa, often referred to as All Stars, featured a host of former campmates when it launched in 2022. Myleene Klasswon the debut series of the spin-off after having been runner-up on I'm A Celebrity back in 2006.
Adam is the latest former campmate rumoured for a potential return. Earlier this week, it was reported that comedian Seann Walsh, 39, has been in talks to appear on the spin-off after placing fifth on I'm A Celebrity in 2022.
Harry Redknapp and Gemma Collins had already been named as potential campmates. Former football manager Harry won I'm A Celebrity in 2018, whilst reality TV star Gemma quit after a few days when she did the show in 2014.
