Harry Styles' one reason for going public with Zoe Kravitz relationship

It is no secret in the celebrity world that the newest couple on the block is Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz. Neither of the pair is a stranger to dating fellow A-listers, and it looks like they're back at it again by striking up a romance themselves.

Onlookers can think that the pair has taken their relationship from nothing to true love in just a matter of weeks, but it might be that the two of them are in it for the long run. Zoe and Harry have been spotted several times strolling hand in hand. Here's a look at their budding romance.

However, the pair appear to have known one another for a lot longer than many of us would have known. Cheeky-chap Harry, 31, has dated a string of famous women but often remained quite private about his love life – despite being seen kissing the likes of Emily Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner.

While there have been talks that the relationship may be a publicity stunt for Zoe to promote her latest film and Harry to promote his next music, it's said that this is the real deal. "What most people don’t know is that they have been friends for years," a source said.

They added that although their relationship looks as though it's moving fact, it's not. They feel "super comfortable" with one another due to their friendship. But sources have said that while he's notoriously private, he's been in the game for that long he knows how to keep things private, if he wants to.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Harry is a very private man - it’s no secret he’s dated lots of people but it’s not always so public. If he wanted to, Harry knows exactly how to keep things under wraps. He’s been in this industry a long time and he knows how his fanbase reacts to things. He doesn’t take introducing the world to a new girlfriend lightly. He has thought long and hard about it but he’s prepared for the backlash because he thinks Zoe is the real deal." The source added that the romance isn't a brief fling.

Travelling the world together

The couple have been seen spending time with each other in more than one country. Harry first sparked rumours with Zoe when they were spotted in Rome last month.

The two were then together in New York City just last week. Harry went on a lunch date with Zoe where he also met her dad music legend Lenny Kravitz.

They went to the Sant Ambroeus venue hand in hand before Lenny arrived to join them. It seems like Harry has already received Lenny's seal of approval.

A source told People: "Friends of Lenny say he is very protective of Zoe, but it really seemed like he enjoyed meeting Harry. From what people could tell, he thought Harry was polite, down to earth and genuinely interested in getting to know the family.

"Lenny has always wanted Zoe to be with someone who respects her, and it looked like he felt Harry does. They were laughing a lot at lunch, and it came across that Lenny appreciated Harry’s sense of humour. He likes when someone can keep things light."

Harry and Zoe then headed to Italy again for Charlie XCX’s wedding which they are said to have attended together.

Despite it still being relatively early days for Zoe and Harry, they aren't afraid of a bit of PDA. They have been seen holding hands more than once, but this isn't Harry's usual style of dating.

Harry is known for being private when it comes to his love life, despite being linked to plenty of celebs over the years.

They went on to explain that it is "never easy" for anyone for date Harry and he and Zoe have already discussed what it would look like. They confirmed that it isn't "just a fling" and they are both in it for the long run.
