Hollyoaks fans are convinced Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) is still alive despite being shot by boyfriend Dodger Savage (Danny Mac).
The soap aired a shocking cliffhanger during Tuesday's (April 15) episode, which is now available to stream on Channel 4's website.
Earlier this week, Maxine went to the police this week when she found out through undercover copper Dodger that Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) were holding Robbie Roscoe () hostage.

DI Banks (Drew Cain) reported back this information and Dodger later overheard Grace’s plans to kill Maxine for her betrayal.
Dodger warned Maxine about Grace and ordered her to leave the village for her own safety.
Maxine encouraged Dodger to leave the village with her, but she realised that he needed to see through his undercover operation and decided that she and Minnie would leave without him.
Dodger later faced Grace and Rex, who confronted him about Maxine’s police visit.
Grace threatened to hurt Myra-Pocahontas McQueen and forced him to choose between his lover and his daughter.
Maxine was picked up by Grace, who held her hostage in The Loft and questioned her on who told her about Robbie’s ordeal.
Rex then brought out Dodger and Maxine tried to protect him by claiming that he didn’t know she was using him for information.
Grace put this to the test and told Dodger to shoot informant Maxine, with even Rex suggesting she was going too far this time.
Dodger took the gun and in a shocking twist, he shot Maxine – proving his "loyalty" to Grace but is Maxine dead?
Taking to social media, one fan penned: "She probably had a bullet proof vest on or something."
Another added: "Either bullet proof best or a blank to test Dodger. Either why he knew she'd be ok. he wouldn't kill her." A third social media said: "There's gonna be a twist."
Remaining tight lipped about whether or not Maxine survives, Nikki told the : "It wouldn't be a soap if there wasn't some type of drama and suspense.
"It's all very exciting but you'll have to wait and see. It's going to be a shocker for the audience."
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
