"How much does it cost for two people to go to Coachella? Let's break it down," she said at the start of the video, before adding: "I wanna start off by saying this is what I was okay with , it might be different for you, so just keep that in mind."
She started her list by sharing how much the tickets and accommodation cost her. By choosing the cheapest accommodation, she was able to save some money.
"So first and foremost, you're gonna need a ticket to get into the festival, which is around $1100 (£840) for two wristbands, and I think it's about the same this year," she shared.
"Then by far the cheapest way for two people to stay at Coachella would be to car camp. Last year it came out to $180 (£137.59) total for two people for all four nights. That's literally [$22.50] (£17.20) a night, you're not gonna find anything better than that."
As for transportation fees, Julia said they'd spent $28 (£21) on petrol as they drove their car from their home in to the festival at the Coachella Valley. She went on to say that this will vary a lot depending on where you're driving from and what kind of car you have.
"So, so far, you need a ticket to get in, so need somewhere to sleep and you need some way of getting there. So for us, that cost $1308 (£999.85) so far. But these next few categories are things that you can kind of start to skirt around or possibly cut back on," she said.
Julia went on to say that because they decided to car camp, they needed to buy camping gear such as a tent, table and chairs, a cooler as well as food and toiletries. In total, Julia said they'd spent $842 (£643) in total between the two of them.
She then went on to say that they'd spent about $544 (£415) for in-festival purchases, which is a category you can easily save on if you wanted to. This included, food, groceries, alcohol, and merchandise.
"So far for us, we've spent $2694 (£2059), but there's still a few more very very optional categories left," Julia said. "And that is going to be, you guessed it, clothes.
"So for us, in this category, we spent $595 (£454). But again, that is just so totally optional," she said. "Now for me, the reason I'm okay spending this much is because I literally treat Coachella outfit shopping like school shopping. Like everything here I will wear a million times again.
"But going to Coachella these past few years I've realised you don't need to go as hard as some of these influencers are saying."
She went on to say that the last thing they spent money on were getting their nails done. Having splurged for their Coachella nail set, Julia said they spent about $100 (£76) to get their nails done.
"So that brings us to the grand total of $3339 (2552.36) for two people to go to Coachella, or $1670 (£1276) each," she concluded.
