A new Netflix true crime documentary is set to cover the 'most horrifying case ever' that viewers have likened to a episode.
Fred & Rose West: A British Horror Story will be made available on the streaming platform next month, on May 14. The streamer has promised that it will be the definitive series revealing the lives and crimes of Britain's most notorious husband and wife serial killers.
Announcing the upcoming release, the company also shared that episodes will feature exclusive access to previously unseen police video as well as unheard audio recordings. Across its three parts, the doc will aim to show how Gloucestershire police were able to discover the remains of the couple's 12 victims.

Some family members of those victims will also appear in exclusive interviews, with some of them speaking out about the horrors of what happened for the very first time. They will give crucial insight into the pain and torment they went through for decades as a result of the Wests, from discovering that their missing loved ones were brutally murdered, to the trauma they experienced and the strength they displayed during the trial.
It is the second limited documentary series under the banner of British Horror Story following the two-part special about Jimmy Savile released in 2022.
It's been over 30 years since Fred and Rose West were arrested at their family home in Gloucester, which would be later described as a house of horrors. There they tortured and murdered at least eight young women.
The killers buried the bodies of most of their victims. Human remains were discovered in the basement of their home as well as at Fingerpost and Letterbox fields in Gloucestershire. Fred was charged with 12 murders and in 1995 Rose, then aged 42, was convicted of ten.
She will remain in prison until she dies and has revealed nothing about the case over the years. Fred died aged 53 before he could stand trial. Many believed he took many secrets of more killings to his grave.
viewers have already reacted to the news of the documentary series online. Responding to the trailer on , one person commented: "I know this case and believe me it's one of the most horrifying cases ever."
Someone else responded to the comment above and posted: "I feel the same. This case and the Moors murders have haunted me."
While someone else claimed: "This reminds me of episode Loch Henry." The episode in question is from season six and follows a young couple who travel to a sleepy Scottish town to start work on a genteel nature documentary but find themselves drawn to a local story involving shocking events of the past.
