The newest Samsung foldables have been announced - and for those in the market for a new smartphone, these might be the ones to go for.

As our tech experts reported yesterday, the all-new Z Fold and Z Flip were revealed during the Unpacked event in New York. They are massive upgrades over previous releases.

The most striking change comes to the latest Z Fold 7. The dramatic makeover makes its design easier to pop in pockets. It also gets an improved triple-lens camera with a main 200MP lens that can shoot better images and video at night. You can read the full rundown here.

There's also the Flip 7, which comes with faster processors, better screens, and improved cameras. Our tech team provides an in-depth overview of what to expect for the Flip 7.

While the updates are exciting, one of the most important things for consumers is where to pick up the best deals on phones.

It all depends on how shoppers want to pay for the device. For those wanting to spread the cost, we highly recommend heading to Three Mobile for the best contract deals.

For the Fold 7, shoppers can pay £45.50 per month on a 36-month contract with a £60 upfront cost. That is without data, so consumers need to factor that into the monthly cost as well.

This is the same for the Flip 7. Samsung fans can get the device for £25.25 a month with a £40 upfront cost for 36 months. Both phones will offer extra storage as well as big trade-in savings. Shoppers can also pre-order from Skyand EE, and depending on the carrier, they might get a wide choice of freebies.

For shoppers who want some alternatives to go for, there's also Carphone Warehouse, which has a range of other deals to explore. For Apple fans, Giffgaff also has a reasonable monthly price on its iPhone 16 Pro with a £24 a month plan with a slightly more expensive £25 upfront cost if users want to shop around.

Heading back to Samsung, the South Korean company has the best SIM-free deals for shoppers who don't mind spending the cash straight away. The brand is offering double storage, up to £935 trade-in value and £100 off the device if consumers pay with PayPal.

For the Fold 7, shoppers can knock the price down from £1,799 to £1099 with trade-in and knock £100 off with PayPal, bringing the price down to £1064. And for the Flip 7,shoppers can pay as little as £596 for the phone with a trade-in. Just check the value of the device before trading it in.
