At Motihari in Bihar, PM Modi will launch initiatives worth ₹7,200 crore, focusing on railways, highways, rural development, fisheries, and the IT sector. Major highlights include:
- Doubling of Darbhanga-Thalwara and Samastipur-Rambhadrapur lines, and automatic signalling on critical routes to improve train speeds and safety.
- The Darbhanga-Narkatiaganj rail doubling project (₹4,080 crore) to enhance regional rail capacity.
- New rail infrastructure for Vande Bharat trains and traction upgrades.
- Foundation stone for 4-laning of Ara Bypass (NH-319) and inauguration of the ₹820 crore Parariya–Mohania section of NH-319.
- Launch of STPI facilities in Patna and Darbhanga to boost tech startups and digital economy.
- Inauguration of fisheries infrastructure under PMMSY to uplift the aquaculture economy and generate rural employment.

Later in the afternoon, at Durgapur in West Bengal, PM Modi will inaugurate and launch projects worth over ₹5,000 crore, focusing on energy, environment, transportation, and infrastructure:
- Foundation of Bharat Petroleum’s ₹1,950 crore City Gas Distribution (CGD) project in Bankura and Purulia, providing PNG and CNG access.
- Inauguration of the ₹1,190 crore Durgapur–Kolkata pipeline as part of the Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga project.
- Inauguration of pollution control systems at thermal power plants (₹1,457 crore) to promote clean energy.
- Doubling of the 36 km Purulia–Kotshila railway line (₹390 crore) to boost goods movement and industrial rail logistics.
- Two new Road Over Bridges under the Setu Bharatam scheme (₹380 crore) at Topsi and Pandabeshwar to improve rail-road safety and connectivity.
