Bengaluru: Sleuths from Karnataka Industrial Security Force (KISF) recently detained two individuals, including a minor, on charges of stealing seven mobile phones from cricket fans watching an IPL match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. They were later handed over to the jurisdictional Cubbon Park police.
The 12-year-old minor has been shifted to a juvenile home, while his senior partner — P Sanjit, 23 — was arrested and released on station bail. "Both are from Jharkhand and are residents of Adugodi. Sanjit works as a private company employee, while the minor is a student. They were caught at Cubbon Park Metro station entrance when KISF frisked them," an investigating police officer said.
