NEW DELHI: Cricket enthusiasts traveling to the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday evening for the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants should brace for traffic congestion and possible delays.

The match is scheduled to begin at 7.30pm, and while no official traffic advisory has been issued yet, authorities are expecting significant crowd movement and vehicle traffic around the stadium.

Commuters are being urged to plan their routes in advance, as the roads surrounding the venue are likely to see a surge in both vehicular and pedestrian activity. Thousands of fans are expected to attend the high-voltage fixture, which may cause bottlenecks and slower commute times in central Jaipur.

Although specific diversions have not been confirmed for today’s game, similar restrictions were implemented during the previous IPL match held at the stadium on April 13, 2025, when Rajasthan Royals faced Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
