Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of television's most popular couples. The duo frequently makes headlines for their personal and business lives. The couple recently made headlines again after reports stated that Dipika's apparel line had unexpectedly shut down operations.
Shoaib had a Q&A on his Instagram handle where many of his fans asked him the same question about whether Dipika's Label DKI has shut completely. The actor then addressed the rumours by answering their questions. The first question read, "Label DKI ka koi update?" Shoaib replied, "A lot of people have been asking me about an update on Label DKI, let me tell you that there has been a delay on that but we are coming back with new stock soon. Why and what happened during the delay, I shall share that with you all some other time. But be assured that we are coming with new stock very soon."
Another user asked, "Label DKI ki news fake hai kya?" Shoaib affirmed, "Yes, all the news that has been making rounds is fake. They have been spreading it without checking any authenticity. People are making the negative part a headline for the views. But we haven't shut the label and yes there has been a delay. Please don't believe the fake news about it."
A user also had a suggestion for Shoaib and Dipika, "Label DKI jab close ho raha hai toh please Dipika ko boliye jitna stock hai sab pe 50% sale laga de please." Shoaib replied, "We aren't shutting Label DKI for sure but yes, your suggestion on removing the old stock at 50% discount can be considered before we launch the fresh designs."
Dipika and Shoaib launched their Label DKI, an ethnic apparel brand named after Dipika's full name, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, in 2023. The business was created as Dipika's dream endeavour, focussing only on traditional Indian design. The actress had planned and worked on the project for more than two years. Her brand's launch was delayed owing to personal duties and health difficulties. The brand began live in September/October 2024. Dipika's apparel line garnered positive feedback from her fans and following who admired her style.
Dipika was last seen in the show Celebrity MasterChef where she had to leave midway owning to her shoulder injury.
