Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 231 runs batting first in Match 65 of the Indian Premier League ( IPL ) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. It marked the 42nd instance of 200-plus run total this IPL season - most in a single season.
Before the current season, the most 200-plus run totals had come last season when by the end of the season, the 10 teams had produced 41 such innings.
Gujarat Titans lead the mark this season with most 200-plus totals followed by Punjab Kings (6), Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals (5), Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians (4), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (3) with Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings producing the least high totals (2).
Ishan Kishan's unbeaten 94 off 48 balls led SRH's blazing effort which included seven fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 195.83.
Abhishek Sharma (34 off 17), Aniket Verma (26 off 9) and Pat Cummins (13 off 6) all played pivotal cameos to extend the total.
