In a major setback for Delhi Capitals, their captain Axar Patel has been ruled out of their must-win encounter against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.
In Axar's absence, Faf du Plessis is leading the Delhi Capitals.

"It's very unfortunate for us. Axar Patel has been sick for the past two days. We will miss him tonight," Du Plessis said at the toss.
Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to field.
"We haven't been at our best in the last 5-6 games. Every day there's a new opportunity. Looks a bit dry, we're chasing," said Faf on the Wankhede pitch.
"Axar is not there; Axar is like two players, and it's difficult to replace him. We'll see how it goes."
Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya said they would have loved to bowl as well, citing the conditions.
"It's been under covers for a couple of days. We would have liked to bowl as well, but it's okay," said Pandya.
"Every game is important from now onwards; we want to play our best cricket. The boys are very excited," he said.
Hardik said he believes that his side has yet to play a complete game in this tournament.
Who's that IPL player?
"I don't think we've had a complete game. They (crowd) have been fantastic. They have backed us even when we weren't on a roll. One change: Mitch Santner comes back, Corbin Bosch misses out," he said.
