How to get all Faceless Masks in Horrific Visions

Send Push
Those for whom Horrific Visions is already a test of endurance and precision will now be unnerved at the next challenge posed by Faceless Masks . The system in Patch 11.1.5 saw the addition of eight masks, so it's never been a better time for players to put their skills to the test and reap greater rewards.

What Are Faceless Masks?

Faceless Masks are optional modifiers you can turn on in the safe room prior to entering a Horrific Vision. Each one presents a new hurdle with an appallingly punishing mechanic to your run. Mask-wise, the more you equip, the tougher your enemies get, with 25% health and damage for every mask, and the more Displaced Corrupted Mementos you earn, increasing by 20% for each mask you wear. That means a run with all eight masks offers an enemy power boost of a staggering 200% and an increase of 140% in mementos.

While the loot cap maxes out at five masks, those who enjoy the masochistic thrill of a brutal run will find pride or madness in completing eight mask clears.

How to Unlock the Masks

Each mask must be unlocked through specific feats inside the Visions of Orgrimmar or Stormwind. And here is the breakup of how to get them all, rethink-wiped from a mere checklist to a journey.

1. The Initiation: Mask of the Long Night

All begins clearly. To procure the Mask of the Long Night, finish every objective of a Horrific Vision while having no mask active. This definitely tests your entire route-planning and execution efficiency, so you will be prepared for chaos. It reduces your max Sanity by 50% All mistakes become more costly.

2. The Edge of Fear: Mask of the Daredevil

Your very first step into the masked runs begins in Orgrimmar. With a mask or two active, you need to clear the Valley of Honor. Enemies deal 400% more Sanity damage. The risk is real, one wrong pull could outright ruin your run.

3. Embrace the Madness: Mask of the Pained

Old Town Stormwind has your trial next. Clear it with a mask active for the Mask of the Pained. Two Madness affixes are active per zone.

4. Trail of Shadows: Mask of the Burned Bridge

Make your way through the Valley of Wisdom in Orgrimmar while leaving void zones behind. Moving creates Sanity-draining zones behind you. Every step is a trap, every movement becomes a deadly dance.

5. Inner Demons: Mask of Dark Imagination

Mask up in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind and clear it to discover how fear breeds enemies. At low Sanity, a Void creature will spawn and attack.Low sanity is no longer synonymous with a ticking clock-it means threats coming to get you.

6. Shared Suffering: Mask of Vengeance

Stormwind's Canal district has twisted grace to offer. Looted from a Vengeful Voidspeaker, one mask can be active at a time. Allies near-you get stacking damage buff upon your death. Good for group runs, if one chooses the path of self-sacrifice for the team.

7. The Dual Hunt: Mask of the Nemesis

That one is a two-step unlock spanning both cities. Kill Hogger at Stormwind and Gamon at Orgrimmar for their shards to forge the mask. The iconic villains return as endless nightmares.

8. The Final Test: Mask of Multitudes

This mask is for the daring. With three masks equipped, finish every objective in one run. Elites return in their abundant numbers. Hope your cooldowns are ready.

How to Play the MasksInside the Vision's safe room, you'll find altars to turn the masks on or off; once activated, their effects will apply immediately and be shown in your UI. Mix and match challenges or go full chaos with all eight.

Faceless Masks aren't about just making the game harder, but about mastery. Every mask run focuses on some variant of your gameplay: route optimization, efficient use of cooldowns, situational awareness, and group co-ordination. Whether you want glory, achievement or self-proving, these masks transform Horrific Visions into what ranks amongst WoW's most memorable solo and group content.
